After an appearance at the Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois boxing match on Saturday, Love Island star Maya Jama was brutally trolled online - but she had a witty comment to fight back
Maya Jama has furiously hit out at trolls on social media after she attended the British boxing match between Anthony Joshua and Daniel Dubois at the weekend, which saw the former defeated. The Love Island host was viciously labelled a "prostitute", to which she had a witty reply, ensuring she stood her ground.
While Maya was a spectator at the match, harmlessly enjoying her Saturday night, her appearance caught the attention of online trolls. Taking to X, formerly known as X, one troll brutally questioned: "What’s Maya Jama the prostitute a star of exactly? Another waded in on the hurtful comment and wrote: "You get paid for photos online of you in thongs etc. if that’s not prostitution I don’t know what is." But Maya was determined not to take it, as she responded: "… no I don’t ? Where have you got that from."
Another penned: "Maya please don’t mind these jobless people." A second added: "Ignore them, you still produced the absolute best live mega mix I’ve ever heard and I’ve never woke up in a better mood than on that day a few years back.
