Some fans have expressed their annoyance as the fast-food chain implements change across all UK stores
Several McDonald's fans have been left upset after the fast-food chain made a huge change to its menu across the country. In a new shake-up, the eatery has announced it will begin to switch some drink products to ‘no added sugar’ alternatives.
A medium Fanta Orange, which contains 18g of sugar and 76 calories, will now be swapped for the zero version, which contains just four calories. Meanwhile a medium sized Oasis, containing 17g of sugar and 67 calories, will be replace with Summer Fruits Zero, which has 2g of sugar and 12 calories. According to the Mirror, McDonald’s will still continue to sell options that do contain sugar however. These include Coca-Cola Classic, Tropicana Orange Juice and Irn-Bru, though the latter is only available in Scotland.
