System failures at McDonald’s have been reported worldwide, shuttering some restaurants for hours and leading to social media complaints.

A federal judge in Texas has blocked a new rule by the National Labor Relations Board that would have made it easier for millions of workers to form unions at big companies.The rule, which was due to go into effect Monday, March 11, 2024, would have set new standards for determining when two companies should be considered joint employers in labor negotiations.
The website Downdetector also reported a spike in problems with the McDonald's app in the last few hours. A spokesperson for McDonald's in Denmark said the “technology failure” was resolved there and its restaurants were open.
