After digging deep, a stunning new find has been discovered by volunteers and Glasgow University's archaeology department.
Scotland has a rich and complex history, however, you may be unaware that Glasgow holds one of the most important collections of historic early medieval carved stones.
Surprisingly in peak condition, the latest discovery was made by Govan Stones volunteers and Glasgow University's archaeology department on March 12. The main aim of The Govan Stones organisation is to preserve the museum and it's historic collection, which they hope to open to the public.
