He is also offering educational support to other students
Meet the Northampton whizz kid, 9, who is currently studying A-Level Maths. Last year Kautilya Katariya made national headlines when he passed his Maths GCSE with an A* in Year 3 of primary school.
Kautilya, who moved to Northampton in 2017 with his family, offers weekly free sessions in GCSE/A level and Further Maths and another weekly session in computer coding and computational thinking. Three times a week Kautilya logs in and conducts live sessions on YouTube where he solves problems in both maths and IT.
“We haven’t had as many views as we’d like yet,” he says. “I think it’s because I have only 242 subscribers to my YouTube channel.” His mother adds: “He is at a level in maths we can no longer help. Although I was good at maths in my class at school, I’m not that good!”
