Meet the MIT and Harvard grads who just raised $15 million for their delivery management platform:

Today, the company announced that it raised a $15 million Series B round, led by Valo Ventures with participation from existing investors Gradient Ventures, Prologis Ventures, and MIT Media Lab’s E14 Fund.

On the drivers’ side, Wise Systems offers a mobile application that provides the users with route scheduling, navigation , notes about parking or security codes, and proof of delivery in the form of e-signatures or photos. Mona EINaggar, partner at Valo Ventures, says that Wise Systems is solving a crucial problem as the logistics and transportation industry have been shifting rapidly in terms of infrastructure, especially when it comes to the last mile delivery stage.
