Decked out in tight white pants with a white Astros jersey bearing the number 222 and her given last name Pete on the back. Meg — aka Megan Pete — stood on the mound for a while waiting for a signal that she was good to go for her first pitch. Realizing how far away she was from Astros second baseman David Hensley, Megan took a few steps in to the front of the mound before delivering a one-hopper to the lefthanded hitter's batter's box.
Hensley made the scoop and got a big hug from Megan before taking a picture with her and signing the ball for her.
