The crossing will be funded by city of Mesquite and constructed by TxDOT after U.S. 80 is completed.: Phase 2 will wrap up in 2022. The entire trail is expected to be complete by 2024.: This project includes the reconstruction of the interchange with I-635 and improvements on I-635 between Town Centre Drive and U.S. 80.
