It will be warm and humid at times
Temperatures are set to climb across Greater Manchester today - but it won't be as hot as other parts of the country. Monday has begun with spells of heavy rain in some parts of the region, turning to showers and sunny spells.
Warm and humid conditions will continue during the day, with temperatures climbing to their peak at around 11am. Some areas, including Manchester, could see highs of 25C according to the Met Office. But temperatures will quickly cool down, as an overcast afternoon turns into a bright evening. The best conditions are expected from around 5pm in Greater Manchester, with temperatures in their low twenties and clear skies, the Met Office predicts.
