The Met Office has predicted snow could fall on part of Nottinghamshire today. in Kirby-in-Ashfield at 1pm on Monday, January 16.
The experts add they expect to see this short burst of snow to change into sunny intervals later in the day. Elsewhere across Nottinghamshire they have predicted wintry showers and sunny but cold afternoons this week - snow has been pictured falling in Stapleford. The East Midlands will be cloudy with wintry showers initially on Monday, with some snow settling across higher ground, perhaps to lower levels at times. Showers clear south after midday to leave a cold and sunny afternoon, with temperatures falling close to freezing in places.Very cold conditions will continue on Tuesday throughout the region. It will remaining dry with temperatures only reaching low single figures during the afternoon.
