Konami's remake of Metal Gear Solid 3 turn the game more action-focused, making Snake more Rambo 3 than First Blood.

With a brand-new “modern” control scheme alongside its spruced-up, Unreal Engine 5 visuals, the upcoming Delta remake of Snake Eater has been changed more than you might assume.
The preview claims that this leads to a more “hurried approach” and does “cut into the original’s stealth-focused challenge”. At the time of writing, these changes do appear to have changed the balance of the game, making it skew towards action. While Konami has altered enemy AI to accommodate this new control scheme, a lot of the original game’s mechanics are still in play.
