The Light Blues arrived at the Philips Stadion level at 2-2 after the first leg at Ibrox last midweek but the Eredivisie stepped up their levels as they fired FIVE past the visitors in an easy win.
Michael Beale has offered an apology to the travelling Rangers support as he branded the big defeat to PSV as 'hugely disappointing'.
Beale has confirmed it will be a quiet end to the window in terms of arrivals at Rangers with the transfer deadline on Friday night at midnight. The Ibrox boss did plenty of early summer business with some fringe men still expected to depart before the summer window ends. The Ibrox gaffer also believes the supporters deserved more than they got from the team as he offered an apology to those making the trip for the second-leg clash.
On if being knocked out changes anything in terms of recruitment before the window slams shut, he said: "It doesn't change anything. It was going to be a quiet end to the window in terms of ins anyway. That was part of the plan having spoken to everyone in house. The club do plan for this. It's just the disappointment of the achievement we wanted to have. We played against an excellent team and by the end of the season I am sure that will be shown.
