Gordon Parks manned the phone in a week when Rangers look to move a step closer to Hampden - but you wouldn't know it.
It appears the bow has broken for some Rangers fans previously prepared to wait and see how Michael Beale would fare at Ibrox.
Forbes McGarva, Doncaster, said: "Give Beale a break as its the players who are not performing. He looked as cheesed off as we all did. It is not just the new signings who are underperforming. There were only four of his new signings in the starting line-up against Motherwell and one was Jack Butland, who has been immense. The rest were signed by previous managers and he is giving the new players an opportunity to show there worth but the others have to stand up and be counted.
Jimmy Mac, Glasgow, said: "Has Beale suddenly forgotten that it was he who got rid of better Rangers players and it was also himself who purchased nine replacement players. Andrew Lamb, Fraserburgh, said: "Yet again we get the wonderkid tosh about a young Scottish player and this time it's Rangers kid Bailey Rice. His only contribution against Motherwell was to get himself booked.".
