“The Jordan Brand is us, the black community,” they wrote in a statement.

Many other celebrities and corporations have donated to the cause of racial equality, but none have come close to Jordans': Amazon, the second-largest company in the U.S., gave $10 million, as did Facebook, which did $71 billion in revenue in 2019. The donation will be jointly provided by Nike , the Jordan Brand and billionaire Michael Jordan, the brand’s cofounder.
“There is still more work for us to do to drive real impact for the black community. We embrace the responsibility,” said Jordan Brand President Craig Williams in the statement.
