F1 legend Michael Schumacher has not been seen in public since his skiing accident in December 2013
Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher is reportedly communicating only with his eyes after a devastating skiing accident over a decade ago left him with a serious head injury.
However, some close to the family have leaked information about his recovery process, including Elisabetta Gregoraci, ex-wife of former F1 boss Flavio Briatore, who revealed that he 'communicates only through his eyes'. Gregoraci was quoted saying: "Michael doesn't speak, he communicates with his eyes. Only three people can visit him and I know who they are. They moved to Spain and his wife has set up a hospital in that house," reports Wales Online.
Despite being out of the limelight, Michael Schumacher continues to be a figure of immense importance and affection within the motorsport world. His legacy lives on through his son Mick Schumacher, who now races in F1 with Haas, following in his father's illustrious footsteps.
