The series came out during lockdown, so I imagine you were mostly getting feedback through the internet and social media. A year later, have you had the chance to have any face-to-face conversations about it? I think it complicates Arabella’s belief that social media is a one-way platform for telling the truth, because it’s not that straightforward.

You famously turned down a $1 million Netflix offer in pursuit of full creative control, and you’ve spoken openly about your experiences with your show, on which you didn’t have that. Going into this series, what did you want to do differently?
