“This young man jumped into action when his school bus driver experienced a medical emergency, bringing the bus to a stop and avoiding what could have been a very tragic accident,” Reeves wrote. “We are very proud of you for your heroic actions!”
“A quick-thinking 7th-grade male student saw the driver in distress, stepped to the front of the bus and helped bring it to a stop without incident,” Livernois wrote online. Dillion Reeves was praised for his “quick thinking” after stepping in to help when his bus driver was suffering a medical emergency.The students in the affected driver’s bus were loaded onto a different school bus to make their journey home, Livernois said.
