Mikel Arteta returns to Goodison Park on Sunday as Everton take on Arsenal
Mikel Arteta admits there are exciting times ahead for Everton but how they overcome their difficult circumstances will spark improvement.
Everton have struggled in recent seasons and narrowly avoided relegation in successive campaigns under Frank Lampard before Sean Dyche subsequently picked up the pieces and beat the drop. Arteta believes that with the project, including the Bramley Moore Dock development, there are exciting times ahead for the Blues and overcoming their tough circumstances will better the club.
