A Scottish town is set to face a series of major upgrade works to its water supply.
Scottish Water has today announced that they are investing £1.5million to improve the resilience of the water supply in and around Dolphinton in South Lanarkshire. which has caused interruptions for local customers.The works will take place along the A702 at Hillside Gardens where around two miles of 4-inch water mains will be upgraded.of low pressure and bursts in the area.
"When completed, the project will greatly improve the resilience of the supply ensuring customers continue to enjoy clear, fresh drinking water while reducing the chance of pipes bursting.Traffic management will be required and has been agreed upon in discussion with South Lanarkshire
