Ex-Facebook and DeepMind employees in talks to raise sizable initial funding round to build OpenAI rival
A French startup that wants to be Europe's answer to OpenAI is in talks to raise an initial funding round.Little is known about the business but it could raise a notable investment from leading funds.
The French startup is the brainchild of Guillaume Lample, a research scientist in Facebook's AI division, and Arthur Mensch, a former research scientist at Google's DeepMind. It is not yet clear if others are involved in the startup.
