Crowds gathered in George Square to pay their respects to the 31-year-old, who died after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina last week.
Glasgow-based fans of Liam Payne joined tens of thousands of others around the world to pay their respects to the singer following his tragic loss at the weekend.
The singer, who was just 31, had been staying at Casa Sur Palermo hotel when he tragically fell and lost his life. Taking to social media, Dermot said, “I remember him as a 14-year-old turning up to audition on The X Factor and blowing us away Sinatra. He just loved to sing. He was always a joy, had time for everyone, was polite, grateful, and humble."
