A chilling teaser dropped this week for the upcoming Netflix anthology series Monsters: The Lyle And Erik Menendez Story.
In the blood-curdling new sneak peek, Lyle and Erik can be seen stalking into their Beverly Hills mansion, shotguns in hand, ready for the kill. Their parents, record executive Jose and socialite Kitty, whom they shot in their living room on the night of August 20, 1989, are played by Javier Bardem and Chloe Sevigny.
Along with the brothers themselves, one of the most notorious figures to emerge from the trial was their ruthless lawyer Leslie Abramson, who is played on the new show by Winning Time actress Ari Graynor. Nicholas Alexander Chavez and Cooper Koch respectively play Lyle and Erik Menendez, the wealthy brothers at the center of the story
Ultimately, the Menendez brothers were sentenced to life in prison without possibility of parole - since when Lyle has been married twice and Erik once
