“We’re a year-round school, and this was our first week back after three weeks,” said Montgomery coach Ed Martin. “It was really hard to figure how the guys would react.Turns out the Aztecs didn’t need it, going on an 18-2 run to open a 30-10 lead with 4:53 to play in the half. The Crusaders got as close as 15 with 5:05 to play, but the lead stretched to 26 before both sides cleared the benches.
