Monzo is introducing three new paid-for subscription plans, offering customers a weekly treat from Greggs, a railcard and breakdown cover.
However, current Monzo Plus customers have access to a 4.6 percent easy access savings account, which isn't available to Monzo Extra subscribers. Priced at £17 monthly or £204 annually, customers need to consider if they will utilise these insurance policies enough to justify the cost, and whether similar coverage could be found cheaper elsewhere. Additionally, there's an option to enhance your Monzo Max with a family upgrade for £22 per month.
