Don't expect shopping to be like it was pre-coronavirus.
In a May 17 letter to consumers, Apple's retail chief Deirdre O’Brien said the new approach to retail"may look and feel a little different. For one thing, you'll find yourself with plenty of space.Additionally, customers and employees will all be required to wear face coverings, and in the stores that will allow patrons to enter, they will need to have a temperature check first and to stand a good distance apart from others.
"Throughout the day, we're conducting enhanced deep cleanings that place special emphasis on all surfaces, display products, and highly trafficked areas," O'Brien says. The states that will see Apple reopening are Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
