🗽 Moschino Stages First-Ever New York Show For Pre-Fall 2020 | V:
Whoever said New York lost its luster clearly hadn't visited Jeremy Scott’s New York. And as part of Scott’s vision for Pre-Fall 2020, Moschino held its very first NYC show at the New York Transit Museum. Show-goers raced through Monday night’s rain to file underground to the decommissioned subway station, where they were seated throughout various subway cars.
The energy was established early on when Imaan Hammam opened the show wearing a grey sweatsuit, hiking boots, a fur stole and layers of oversized gold chains. A look that commands attention. The collection offered a cinematic trip to a bygone era of New York, illustrating flashes of an East Village leather bar and Madison Avenue sophisticates.
Michel Gaubert crafted a soundtrack to lift the Monday blues, with Char Defrancesco and Petras singing along to Blueface’s “Thotiana”. And just like that, the finale erupted with subway performers leaping through cars. Following the show, the Moschino train traveled around the corner to Sal’s Pizzeria where the likes of Adesuwa Aighewi, Patti Wilson, and Stella Maxwell enjoyed one of Brooklyn’s finest slices.
