Much has been made of President Joe Biden’s age and seemingly declining mental capabilities. He’s received criticism from many people who claim he is too old to be president. The octogenarian doesn’t help himself much, given Biden’s numerous slip-ups, malapropisms, and absentminded actions. Now, it appears such actions might have cost Biden in public opinion.
According to a recent Rasmussen Reports survey, 54% of voters are not confident in Biden’s abilities to lead the country. This includes a breakdown of 42% of respondents claiming “they are not at all confident” in the president’s abilities and 12% stating they are “not very confident.” Conversely, 44% of voters said they were confident in Biden’s capabilities, including 19% saying they were “somewhat confident” in him, according to Rasmussen.Biden’s support carried mainly along party lines.
