The victory for the supervisor at the Greggs bakery on Merry Street in Motherwell was particularly special as it took place just a short distance from his hometown, making his triumph a moment of pride not only for himself but also for his friends and family."My fiancée and around 20 of my family were there to support me. They had no idea that I was going to win, and from what I saw, they were mindblown.
