The noise and disturbance is not even slightly reasonable and some riders deliberately create a loud nuisance, some even ride illegal ATVs and dirt bikes through neighborhoods.
In Beaver County PA and in my town Midland, motorcyclists are very much respected. Their groups have rides, picnics etc. Usually to raise funds for good works. When I drive, I make a conscious effort to stay a safe distance and keep the riders protected.
On the other hand, I do wonder why mufflers are not required. The noise and disturbance from the occasional rider or rider group is not even slightly reasonable and some riders deliberately create a loud nuisance, some even ride illegal ATVs and dirt bikes through neighborhoods.
