Police are appealing for information
, when a Kawasaki motorbike and a BMW X3 car collided. A motorcyclist from Fleetwood was taken to hospital where he is still being treated.
A passenger on the bike, a woman from Blackpool, suffered multiple broken bones. Police are now appealing for information after the road was closed for hours to allow investigation work to be carried out.A spokesperson for the police said: "We are appealing for information following a serious injury collision in #Larbreck.
"The incident occurred on Sunday at around 4.40pm on Garstang Road, between Great Eccleston and Windy Harbour, when a Kawasaki motorbike and a BMW X3 car collided. "The motorcyclist – a man in his 40s and from Fleetwood – was taken to hospital, where he remains. A passenger on the bike – a woman in her 40s and from Blackpool – suffered multiple broken bones.
"The road was closed for several hours while specialist collision investigators attended and we are now appealing for witnesses as we piece together exactly what occurred."
