BREAKING NEWS: A 23-year-old motorcyclist has died after an apparent road rage shooting today in Glendale near 67th Ave. and Thunderbird Rd. An arrest has not been made.
At about 4:15 p.m. Thursday, Glendale police officers were called to the area for a welfare check.
When they arrived they located a motorcyclist, identified as a 23-year-old man with an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital where he died. During the initial investigation by Glendale Police Department, it was determined the shooting stemmed from a road rage incident near 67th Avenue and Greenway.
The shooting is believed to be between the motorcyclist and a secondary vehicle. The shooter has not been identified or arrested.67th Avenue between Cactus and Thunderbird roads is closed while this incident is under investigation.
