Emergency services rushed to the scene on Glenburn Road at its junction with Glenburn Way after receiving reports of a motorcycle crash. Sadly the rider passed away.

Sergeant Chris Hoggans said: “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of the man who died at this very difficult time. “Enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident and has not already spoken to officers to please contact us.“I would also ask anyone who was driving in the area around that time who may have dash-cam to please review their footage and contact us if it holds anything relevant.
