costume being auctioned off on eBay has been sold – and the winning bidder has bagged the iconic outfit for a hefty £62,000., having first appeared on TV alongside Noel Edmonds on his Saturday night variety show Noel’s House Party on BBC One.
‘Unfortunately before it could be delivered the overseas show was cancelled and neither the broadcaster or the BBC’s production team wanted it – so it sat in my office until a move meant it came home with me some years ago.’
