Disney announced that the upcoming live-action remake of Mulan will now be released on Disney+ for an additional fee.
Fans in other countries where movie theaters have re-opened and where Disney+ is not available will still be able to watch the film on the big screen.
Fans in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand and other countries will need to have a Disney+ subscription to access the film. Unlike other releases like, fans will have to pay an additional $29.99 to watch the film on the service. Disney fantatics who are also waiting on other films from the company won't have to worry about future releases being moved to the service. Disney CEO Bob Chapek says that this is not a new business model for them.
