Two sisters refused to speak to their mum after being left "devastated" at her surprise gender reveal. The upset siblings gave their mum the silent treatment for the full day because they were annoyed to find out she was having another girl.
NHS clinical support worker Laura said that both her daughters refused to speak to her, and it took them weeks to get over the devastation that they would not be welcoming a baby brother. "They did come round to the idea of a sister in the end but it took them a couple of weeks. They went to school heartbroken and were devastated for weeks."
