A mum whose daughter was raped, stabbed over a dozen times and set on fire in an unsolved murder has made a direct appeal to her killer: "Hand yourself in and end our nightmare."

I could never have imagined it would take 19 years to get answers. It makes me angry. It frustrates me that he's out there, living his life, travelling where he wants, but my daughter can't. She's in a coffin. I think about her every day, she had the most amazing smile. I want him caught, he needs to be caught.
But despite the similarities and a new forensic clue, Margaret has been told the probe was a dead end and Dixie was eliminated as a suspect. But again the police drew a blank. Margaret said: "Every false dawn breaks my heart. All we want is answers. All we want is justice." In an emotional tribute, Margaret, who lives with her partner, carer Conail, 58, said: "Jennifer was a little peach. She was demanding. She wouldn't take no for an answer. But she was a lovely child, she was my world. She was friendly, she loved people. But she couldn't sit still. She was jumping around from here to there."
