Kulsama, 27, was attacked in the Westgate area of the city as she walked with her baby on Saturday, April 6. She was pushing a five-month-old baby boy in a pram at the time when she was stabbed in the neck.
During a press conference held at Trafalgar House Police Station on Monday, Assistant Chief Constable Damien Miller said Kulsama and Masum were known to each other. He said West Yorkshire Police are doing "everything in their power" to find Masum. A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
