I’m obsessed with the 1940s – my entire house has 40s memorabilia, I use a vintage gas stove and have a flock of pigeons as pets
A WOMAN obsessed with the 1940s has shown off her vintage house and even has a flock of pigeons as pets., she revealed she much preferred the slower pace of life the 40s offered and does everything she can to replicate it at
Despite never living through the 40s - she has accumulated plenty of items to transform her home - even her gas oven is featured in a museum in Liverpool."Well, first of all, I don't. Yes, I have a 1940s inspired house with the late 1940s cooker, it's also currently in a museum in Liverpool." She continued: "Yes, I have an appreciation for its fashion, music, decor and values, the make do and mend attitude, living within your means, having gratitude for what you have."What I do want is to occasionally use my very modern platform to share interesting facts of this era."
