Deku's character arc in My Hero Academia is almost at its end but the series has a perfect opportunity to show his growth during his final fight with Shigaraki. It all hinges on a nearly forgotten power that All Might showed off in the manga's very first chapter. If mangaka Kohei Horikoshi brings back that power before the end of the series, it will be a poetic climax to Deku's journey.
Deku Needs To Copy All Might's First Feat in My Hero Academia In the very first chapter of the series, All Might saves Deku and Bakugo from a Sludge Villain who is threatening to hijack their bodies. In order to stop it, All Might punches the villain so hard that it causes it to rain, which implies that the blow had an extreme amount of power behind it. All Might never showed off this power in My Hero Academia again, likely due to his deteriorating physical condition.
