Garrett was apparently participating in the Gridiron Gauntlet, racing in an obstacle course that included climbing over walls, when the injury occurred. The Browns and Garrett are lucky the injury wasn’t more serious and that he should be fine soon.
Garrett participated in the dodgeball game on Thursday, and the Gridiron Gauntlet on Sunday. He did not participate in flag football, because offensive and defensive linemen weren’t included. The AFC five-man Gridiron Gauntlet team included three Browns players: Garrett, Chubb and Bitonio,
Fortunately for Garrett, he doesn’t have any football activity until the Browns offseason program begins in April.
