And finally, their very own high school can say that they are trailblazing a path for youth cricket to thrive, too.
After months of planning, logistics, recruitment, and funding, a student-led effort by Monroe senior Abeer Khan to create a club cricket team became a reality when the Monroe Township Board of Education approved the state’s first-ever high school cricket club of its kind last November.
