A winter storm watch has been issued for 3 New Jersey counties expected to get 4 to 6 inches of snow. See how much snow will fall in your town in our interactive map.

The heaviest snowfall could come during the Monday morning commute and accumulations of more than 2 inches of snow for roughly half of the state, and a coating of snow up to 2 inches along the I-95 corridor as far north as Bergen County.

“Snowfall rates of 1 inch per hour or higher are possible in the heaviest snow on Monday morning,” the weather service said in its. “This could cause major impacts to the Monday morning commute. Roads could become snow-covered rapidly with these snowfall rates.” Note to readers: if you purchase something through one of our affiliate links we may earn a commission.
