A naked grandpa wrecked a hotel room on a drink and drug-fuelled rampage and caused over £48,000 of damage.
The incident occurred last year at Heritage Hotel in Wales when co-owner Dale Smith received a call from a resident regarding leaks coming from the ceiling. Cardiff Crown Court heard that on October 7 2021, Smith arrived at his hotel to check out the problem and was stunned to see a room had been 'completely trashed'.
The bathroom was also overflowing with water as the shower had been left running, which was causing the floor to leak water into the rooms below. Turner was found amongst the chaos, naked and appearing to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs. Prosecutor Andrew Kendal said there was substantial damage to walls, carpets, and electrics from the incident. The total amount of the damage caused came to more than £48,000.
