Alice Aguiar, Elsie Stancombe and Bebe King were stabbed during a Taylor Swift dance class
Two more children who died in a horror knife attack in Southport have been named. They were named by police as Bebe King, six, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven. They died after being stabbed on Hart Street in Southport at around 11.50pm on Monday, July 29. Alice Aguiar, aged nine, was earlier named as one of the children who died following the incident. It is understood Alice was originally from Portugal but had moved to Crossens in Sefton .
A 17-year-old boy , from Banks, Lancashire, and originally from Cardiff, was apprehended and continues to be questioned by police. Officers said he is being held on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. A spokesperson for the force said a name has been shared on social media in connection with the suspect in the incident in Southport and this name is incorrect. They added: 'We would urge people not to speculate on details of the incident while the investigation is ongoing.
