One of the things children can do at the Pajama Party held by DuPage Children's Museum in Naperville, scheduled this year for Sept. 22, is set up their own forts using building sets, blankets, pillows and other items.Once the DuPage Children’s Museum reopens Friday, Sept. 15, following its annual two-week maintenance closure, special Friday night events will be held this month and next.

A bedtime stories laser show will be held at 6 and 7 p.m., which combines improvised stories with laser technology.The DuPage County Health Department said a Woodridge resident in their 60s became ill last month from West Nile virus, marking the first human case of the virus in the county this year.
People 55 or older with preexisting health conditions are more likely to develop severe illness, the department website said.
