2023 NBA draft: Predictions for UH's Marcus Sasser, Jarace Walker
UH products Jarace Walker, right is a projected lottery pick, and All-American guard Marcus Sasser is likely a second-round selection, according to mock drafts ahead of Thursday night's NBA draft.For the first time in 36 years, the University of Houston men’s basketball program is expected to have multiple players selected in the NBA Draft.
“I think you measure the great programs by four different things,” coach Kelvin Sampson. “No. 1 is high seeds in the NCAA Tournament, and that’s important. Advancing as far as you can go in the NCAA Tournament. Getting guys drafted in the first round. And if you’re fortunate enough to get a guy drafted in the lottery. We’re doing all those things, which makes us one of the best teams in the country.
