clearly love having the wind in their hair as sales of the Convertible variant accounted for 48 per cent of 2022 model year production.
During a recent presentation at the National Corvette Museum Bash, the bow-tie band revealed that almost half of all C8 Corvette models sold are for the Convertible, despite being priced $7,500 more than an equivalent Coupe. Chevrolet also confirmed that 52 per cent of all C8 Corvette Convertibles sold were equipped with the flagship 3LT trim package while 40 per cent of orders were for the 2LT trim and just 8 per cent were for the entry-level 1LT. These figures are quite different to those of the Corvette Stingray Coupe where the 1LT accounted for 22 per cent of orders, the 2LT brought in 45 per cent of buyers, and the 3LT equips the remaining 33 per cent.
