The concept, 6th Avenue Steamed Buns, will open in 4,432 square feet in a very visible location at 1027-1029 Ave. of the Americas near Bryant Park. That’s just a few blocks from Nebula’s pulsing party at 135 W. 41st St. some 23,000 followers on Instagram, where posts include videos of many guests dancing to spinning DJs. That means lots of mouths looking to eat late-night snacks.The space will come chicly designed for the late-night crowd looking for a bite.The space is 4,432 square feet in size.The restaurant’s proprietor, Howard Hui Fang, is a partner in Mixx Lifestyle, which owns Nebula — as well as Mixx Cruise party boats, other restaurant concepts and some wine stores.
“Everybody loves dumplings,” said Kapnick. “We wanted to bring something fun to the Bryant Park area — which has seen an increase in foot traffic since the start of the pandemic — that will cater to the office crowd during the day as well as the year-round tourists and nearby nightlife scene.”
