A Long Island community is stunned after a plane crashed near a neighborhood in Lindenhurst. ZinniaDee_TV reports.
Branches were snapped, and debris was left behind in driveways after Suffolk County police say the private,Sunday afternoon near the intersection of Wellwood Avenue and Fifth Street in Lindenhurst.
Out of three passengers, police say one was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others were rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital in critical condition. Thankfully, no one was injured on the ground - an ending one woman says the pilot should be praised for.
