Ryan Maloney has quit Neighbours after three decades on the Australian soap, in real-life he's happily married and reveals he wants to be a commercial airline pilot
Neighbours star Ryan Maloney, who plays Toadie ‘Toadfish’ Rebecchi, has announced he’s leaving the show after 30 years.
The soap returned in 2023, and Ryan returned along with the main cast members. On Thursday 27 July has quit the show - but he won’t be going far. In a video released to fans on Thursday 27 June, Ryan says he is ‘formerly’ a cast member . He goes on to say that “after 30 years of playing Toadie, I will be leaving Ramsay Street”.
“I’ve just started director training and have just finished filming my first episode as director - so I really hope that you enjoy that.
